Galerie Anita Beckers presents Vee Speers' "Birthday Party." The theme of the series is children and the life roles pressing upon them in the future. The children are dressed up in costumes, but their expressions are neither cheerful nor innocent. Speers, born in Australia and based in Paris, is interested in the psychology of human nature, what lies beneath the surface. Her photos are meant to confuse and interrogate. The exhibition is on until April 5th in Frankfurt, Germany.
